Audit of USFWS

Question:

I will try posting this again. This is the third attempt to post this. On Thursday evening (July 29th) I was watching special speaches on C-span and a Republican Congressman from Montana was commenting on an audit performed on the USFWS and that gross abuse and illegal expenses were detected. To add insult to injury, evidence was uncovered that the administration had coerced a USFWS official to approve a grant to an anti-hunting organization. In other words, we hunters are financing our enemies with our excise tax on hunting equipment. This money is supposed to be used for habitat. I wonder how they will stretch this one. Has anyone else heard anything on this. I cannot find anything in the media but that wouldn’t be hard to understand. Good Hunting George Pepper Share what you know. Learn what you don’t. The NRA has a press release at their website.  Try this link — http://www.nraila.org/cwnr/19990730-Hunting&Conservation-001.html     — Kevin Walker /IL      *  "Qui me amat, amat et canem meum."  *      *  ("He who loves me, loves my dog.")  *      *     — St. Bernard of Clairvaux      * Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

In case others do not know, do not bookmark that page in particular! It won’t change.  You got to clinb back up the tree and bookmark the homepage http://www.nraila.org As a matter of fact, the NRA has redesigned their website to make it more personal and interactive.  You can design it to only give you the alerts you are interested in.  Go to the homepage and look for the link for "MyNRA."     — Kevin Walker /IL      *  "Qui me amat, amat et canem meum."  *      *  ("He who loves me, loves my dog.")  *      *     — St. Bernard of Clairvaux      * Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/
